ABOUT ME
Originally from Switzerland, I moved to Seattle for graduate school a few years ago. The beauty and variety of this area are keeping me in place. I grew up in a mix of cultures, around students and music. I'm at home where people with all their differences come together to play. I have worked with narratives, theater, film, and have lead an international youth network to discover what they can contribute to this world. In whatever I do, I love finding ways to support others' agency and creativity in the making.
My music teacher used to say, we do all these things to fill our body and occupy our minds (we eat and consume) but we forget to feed our soul. "Music is food for your soul." I want to find your way, to get back in touch with what truly feeds and nourishes you - whether it is music, a meaningful relationship, passionate work or play, how you encounter nature, or the way you face your unique challenges.
I received my Bachelors of Arts from Temple University in Film and Media Arts, with a minor in Theater. I graduated with honors from Seattle University’s Master of Arts in existential phenomenological therapeutic psychology program. At its core is the belief that we all come with unique backgrounds, experiences and challenges to the therapeutic relationship. As part of my education I completed a rigorous one year internship at Seattle Therapy Alliance where I worked with women on a variety of issues and challenges, including depression, addiction, past traumas, personal and interpersonal growth. As part of my internship I completed an in depth training in women’s issues and feminist psychotherapy.
